They announced that instead of filming live from the studio, today’s Saturday Night Takeaway will include the best parts of the show.
But Ant and Dec will see the show, so they have vowed to watch it live on Instagram together from home and stream it to their fans.
Long-time best friends were talking on a video call when Dec Ant asked what he had done.
“Not much,” answered Ant.
“Isolate, it’s the latest craze you know!”
Dec said to Ant that he felt strange not being in the takeaway studio and then asked him, “What are you doing on Saturday at 7am?”
Ant replied, “I’ll do what the rest of the country does, order a snack, and watch takeaway.”
“I’m getting a curry!” said Dec
“I’m getting a Thai,” said Ant, whereupon Dec warned him jokingly: “You have changed!”
Ant went on: “I know tell you what if we both see it, why don’t we watch it with the rest of the country.
“Do the show on TV from our two houses.”
Dec asked if that was possible, whereupon Ant reassured him: “Of course we can do it, it is 2020, we live in the future, man!
Dec then put on a suit for the next clip and exclaimed, “Hell, yes, let’s do it, I’m going to wear a suit and everything!”
Ant will see the show from his £ 6m love nest, which he shares with his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett and their two children.
It has seven bedrooms, a home theater and a spa bathroom with a sink for him and her.
The master bedroom has a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with a free-standing bathtub.
The fenced property is shielded from trees for privacy reasons and has five reception rooms, a cinema room and large office spaces.
The open kitchen has two ovens and leads into a dining room and an orangery with a view of the garden.
Meanwhile, Dec shares his home in Chiswick with his wife Ali Alstall and their daughter.
He shares little of his home on social media, but photos of his adorable dog show that his living room contains a fur blanket, a gray-woven chair, and wicker baskets to hold children’s toys.
His kitchen also has gray accents with marble surfaces, white tile walls, and gray cabinets.
There are also flashes of trendy chrome with the plugs and the bread box.
