Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Sancho before the 2020/21 season and Dortmund as United’s best target According to reports Expect the youngster to play football in Old Trafford next season.
The Red Devils are even ready to offer Sancho the coveted shirt number seven, currently occupied by Alexis Sanchez, to lure the striker into the theater of dreams.
However, Chelsea has not given up hope of a Sancho landing and, like United, is ready to meet the Englishman’s gigantic £ 100m rating after Frank Lampard asked the board for a marquee.
Rashford was one of the many players who sent birthday messages to Sancho, who turned 20 on Wednesday, and it wasn’t surprisingly well received by United fans.
‘Happy Birthday Brother !! @ sanchooo10 Enjoy your day indoors! Rashford wrote on Instagram with a picture of them together in international service.
Sancho’s close relationship with Rashford, two years older than him, is well documented and could prove to be the key to United’s negotiations over the signing of the young England international in the coming months.
But Chelsea center forward Abraham had none of this and quickly replied to Rashford’s post.
“Stay away from my Jadon,” Abraham replied with a laughing emoji amid rumors that Sancho might be on his way to Stamford Bridge.
Although Abraham’s comment has since been cleared, it is clear that the striker would welcome a move for Sancho, which he knew well from his early days when he rose to the ranks of youth football in South London.
Sancho and Abraham, both born in Camberwell, together achieved the final goal in England’s 7-0 win over Montenegro in November. After the game, the Chelsea player thought about how far they got in a short time.
“Being in Wembley together is just a dream come true for us,” said Abraham BT Sport.
“I remember playing with him in the park a few years ago.
“We have small competitions every summer and now he just helped me and I scored my first English goal.” It’s crazy to think about it.
“I know where he wants to put the cross. He’s an assistant, he loves counting his assists, so all I knew was that I had to hit my husband and step in front of him. “
Earlier this week, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand said he wouldn’t think twice about signing Sancho, but admitted that it could be difficult to lure the boy to Old Trafford.
“I would take Sancho to Manchester United all day. Whether we’ll get him anyway … “said Ferdinand during a question and answer session on Instagram Live.
“Great player, great potential, English, he’s brilliant.
“I would take Sancho now.”
